The Blow and Love Inks to play The Earl 11/5

It's been a long time since we've heard new tunes from The Blow, a Washington based electro pop/performance art group currently comprised of Khaela Maricich and Melissa Dyne. Maricich's last two records (Jona Bechtolt was the second member at the time), Paper Televison (2006) and Poor Aim: Love Songs (2007), boasted gems such as "Hey Boy" and "Parentheses" that were in heavy heavy rotation for me at the time, so news of a new record this fall was pretty exciting. As was word that they would be playing in Atlanta tonight.

They'll be joined by Austin, TX trio Love Inks, who just releasesd their sophomore album Generation Club, a record that was two years in the making and is chock-full of minimalist synth pop goodness. Check out the new(ish) video for "Outta Sight" below and get to The Earl early tonight. Doors at 8:30. Get 'yo tickets here.
