Ra Ra Riot share new song. New LP out 1/22.



Syracuse based Ra Ra Riot are set to drop their third full-length record on January 22, and they've shared a couple cuts leading up to the release, the most recent of which being the fantastically fun "Dance With Me."

Beta Love will be the first record without cellist Alexandra Lawn, who left the group last year. The departure seemed to be a pleasant one, as Alexandra announced the news with a heartfelt note on the band's Tumblr. This was quite sad news for me personally, though. When I saw Ra Ra Riot play in Atlanta on their 2008 tour in support of debut record, The Rhumb Line, I may have fallen a bit in love. 

All personal notes aside, it sounds like the group is moving on without her just fine. If the two songs below are any indication, I'm going to enjoy Beta Love more than their 2010 sophomore release, The Orchard. They're on tour this spring in support of the record. Check out the dates below.
